From there, we started talking about how they would thank the friends who had helped them.

“Which place should it be?” asked Shia. They were going to treat their classmates out to eat, but there were so many choices.

“There were a lot more people than we expected,” said Cattleya.

“I wonder if we could ask a place to help us?” Maricks said, which made Cattleya and Timol look worried.

“How many was it again?” wondered Timol.

“I think sixteen.”

“With us, it’d be twenty in total. That’s a lot.”

“Well, we’re also inviting people who didn’t help out.”

Unlike me, Shia and Maricks apparently had a ton of friends to come to their aid. In my old world, not a single person would have helped me out…not that I would’ve had anyone to try to call on, now that I thought about it. Nah, there was no point in this comparison at all.

“Would you all like to come too?” Shia asked.

I frowned. “It’s going to be students?”

“Yes, Linea will be there too.”

In other words, people who had seen my underwear would be there. I stayed in all day yesterday and felt better, but I wasn’t about to forget about the perils of the panty peek.

If I went in my bear onesie, it’d be a big deal. If I went in my uniform, Shia’s friend would also make it a big deal.

I decided to politely decline. “You should have fun with your friends. Besides, we need to get back to Crimonia soon.”

We needed to head home now that the festival was over. Otherwise, Cliff, Tiermina, and Gentz would be worried. Shia and the others looked disappointed, but I had to turn them down regardless.

“Things’ll definitely get rowdy because of the number of people going.”

“We need a place big enough that they won’t mind if they’re loud, but we want the food to be good too.”

“Even if we could find a big place with good food, I don’t think anyone would be okay with us being loud.”

“Then what should we do?”

Well, with twenty school kids, it seemed like it would be really loud. If we were in Crimonia, I would have offered up one of my restaurants. Since we had a party room, they would have been able to get a little rowdy without causing any trouble. But I couldn’t just invite all of them to Crimonia. Then again, there was a certain place in the capital that was similar to my establishments.

“Shia, I know the perfect place.”

“Do you really, Yuna?”

“Yeah. And there won’t be any customers, so you wouldn’t be causing trouble. Also, the food is delicious. It’s a great place.”

No way it wouldn’t be with the head chef of the castle, Zelef, overseeing the food. It wasn’t open yet either, so other customers wouldn’t be a problem.

“A place like that seriously exists?” asked Shia.

Cattleya seemed doubtful. “You’re telling us there’s a place that serves good food, but that doesn’t have customers?”

“That’s because the place hasn’t officially opened yet.” I told them about the king-mandated restaurant that was being built.
